Healthcare professionals warn of hidden symptom that will continue affecting Nova Scotians – even after mass vaccination

(Halifax, NS) March 26, 2021: Mental healthcare professionals are sounding alarm bells about mental health concerns across the province once all Nova Scotians are vaccinated and the pandemic ends. While the healthcare system, government officials and Nova Scotians are focused on the ongoing vaccine campaign, psychologists are concerned that vaccination is seen as a cure-all. They warn that the anxiety, depression, feelings of stress won’t end with the end of the COVID-19 crisis.
